ALSIP, IL — Alsip police are assisting Summit police in executing an arrest warrant in the area of 126th Street and Alpine. A SWAT team is involved and police say the situation is contained to single unit in an apartment complex.
The person police are serching for is believed to live in the unit, a police source told Patch. Summit police could not immediately be reached.
Alsip police say there is no danger to the public. Traffic has been shut down between 127th Street and Central Avenue. Please avoid the area.
