Heritage Cup match set for next week’s WWE NXT

A match for the Heritage Cup trophy is set for next week’s NXT.

Current trophy holder Noam Dar will defend the Heritage Cup against Nathan Frazer. During a Hard Hitting Home Truths segment that aired on Tuesday’s NXT, Frazer issued the challenge to Dar, claiming that Dar only won at Battleground against Dragon Lee because he enlisted the help of Oro Mensah, Lash Legend, and Jakara Jackson. Later in the show, Dar introduced his new stable under the name The Meta-Four.

A six-man tag match is also set for next week. Mustafa Ali will team with Wes Lee and Tyler Bate against The Schism (Joe Gacy & The Dyad). After Gacy lost to Ali on Tuesday’s show, he said that while The Dyad had held their own, he has struggled, losing on Tuesday and also at Battleground. The Dyad told Gacy that they had his back.

Baron Corbin will take on Ilja Dragunov. Corbin opened Tuesday’s NXT and said he had returned to NXT because the roster has become too soft and entitled. Dragunov came out and argued otherwise, wanting a shot against Corbin. After the match was made, Dragunov was jumped backstage by Bron Breakker, pushing the match to next week.

Here is the updated lineup for Tuesday’s show.
