A Last Man Standing match has been added to NXT Battleground.
Ilja Dragunov will battle Dijak on May 28 in Lowell, Massachusetts. The two have been feuding for the last several weeks, with Dijak at one point jumping Dragunov backstage, pinning him down on top of a sliding door as he attacked him.
On Tuesday’s NXT, Dragunov walked up to Dijak and dared Dijak to “break him”. Throughout the show, Dijak was seen torturing Dragunov. Despite the torture, a battered and bruised Dragunov was still defiant, telling Dijak that he was “not even close” when asked if he had enough. The last vignette shown on Tuesday had Dragunov telling Dijak that he was still standing.
