TREDYFFRIN, PA —Dr. Richard Gusick, Tredyffrin-Easttown school superintendent, notified parents Friday that any student charged with writing racial slurs and anti-Semitic graffiti on Valley Forge Middle School grounds also faces potential school discipline.
“We continue to cooperate with law enforcement to gather the necessary evidence to impose school-based consequences, if applicable, to any individual charged,” Gusick said in a letter to parents.
Because of laws regarding the privacy of student records and juvenile court proceedings, Gusick said, the district would not be releasing information about any school discipline.
