Stacy Keibler to be inducted into WWE Hall of Fame

Stacy Keibler is the fourth inductee to be confirmed for the 2023 WWE Hall of Fame class.

It was announced via People today that Keibler will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. The induction ceremony is taking place after SmackDown in Los Angeles this Friday (March 31). The ceremony will stream live on Peacock/WWE Network.

Rey Mysterio, The Great Muta, Andy Kaufman, and Keibler are the inductees that have been announced for this year's Hall of Fame class.

"I never thought I would be in the Hall of Fame, to be honest," Keibler told People. "I was completely shocked when I got the call. I had tears in my eyes."

Keibler got her start in pro wrestling for WCW in 1999 and joined WWE following the purchase of WCW. Her career with WWE lasted until 2006.

Keibler told People that she decided to enter pro wrestling after being a fan of the industry. Keibler, who was formerly a cheerleader for the Baltimore Ravens, joined WCW by winning a contest to find a new Nitro Girl.

"I would go to every show within a three-hour drive from Baltimore," Keibler said. "I drove to Philly, and I drove to New York, I drove to D.C. I was in the stands wearing my NWO shirts and holding my posters."

Outside of pro wrestling, Keibler finished in third place on the second season of Dancing with the Stars.

Keibler told People that her current focus is on spending time with her husband and three children.

"I've entered into another chapter of being a mom, and anyone with three kids knows that that's a juggling act, and it's my full-time job," Keibler said. "So I have taken a step back to focus on putting my heart and soul into that. Now because I've been a performer since the age of seven, of course, it's also in my heart, but it's just something that I've kind of taken a backseat to that, focusing on something else."

Keibler appeared at the 2019 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony when she inducted Torrie Wilson.
