Kerala Shocker! Four-Year-Old Boy Hacked To Death By Father's Estranged Business Partner, Mother Injured

Police in Kerala’s Wayanad district have arrested a man for hacking to death a four-year-old boy.

The accused, identified as Jithesh, attacked four-year-old Adi Dev and his mother, Anila, while she was taking him to the nearby Anganwadi on Thursday.

Business partnership gone wrong

The child who was critically injured near his left ear and head in the brutal attack succumbed to his injuries on Friday while his mother is recovering in a hospital.

According to the police, the accused was the family’s neighbour and the business partner of the boy’s father, Jayaprakash.

Jayaprakash and Jithesh had a business in Kochi, and recently there was a reported fall-out between the two, which is suspected to be the motive behind the heinous act.

Accused arrested

“We suspect that there were some business-related disputes between the child’s father Jayaprakash and the accused Jithesh. It might have led to the cruel act,” a police official said.

The accused was taken to custody on Thursday and the weapon used for the attack has also been recovered.

Man flings minor girl to ground

On Thursday, another shocking video surfaced from the neighbouring Kasaragod district where a man was seen flinging a minor girl to the road without provocation.

The incident happened in Manjeshwar town on Thursday.

CCTV visuals of the incident showed the eight-year-old girl standing outside the Madrassa when a man walked up to her, hitting her violently and lifting her before throwing her on the ground.

The man then walks off as if nothing had happened. 

The incident came to the limelight after the girl told her relatives that somebody had hit her while standing on the roadside.

Video shocks family

The girl’s uncle said she was thoroughly shaken by the incident and was not ready to narrate anything to the family members initially.

“She later said somebody hit her while standing on the roadside. Thus, I went back and examined the CCTV visuals and I was shocked seeing the footage,” he said.

Based on the CCTV visuals, a local resident identified as Aboobacker Siddique was arrested by the Police on Thursday.
