MN Vikings Rookie Blamed Dog 'Emergency' After Going 140 MPH: Citation

ST. PAUL, MN — Minnesota Vikings rookie wide receiver Jordan L. Addison said a dog “emergency” was the reason he was driving 140 MPH on Interstate 94 early Thursday morning.

Addison, 21, was ticketed for going 85 miles over the posted speed limit, according to court documents.

Just after 3 a.m. on July 20, a trooper on eastbound on I-94 near Dale Street clocked a Lamborghini Urus going 140 miles per hour. The speed limit in the area is 55 MPH, authorities noted.

The trooper pulled the Lamborghini over and identified the driver as Addison of Frederick, Maryland. He cited Addison for speeding and reckless driving.
