MASSACHUSETTS — It isn’t so much a question of what there is to do in the Boston area and beyond, but rather, what should locals do?
Welcome to Patch’s latest weekly roundup of highlight-worthy events across the city and surrounding areas. We’ve compiled them into one, easy-to-follow list, for your weekend planning.
This week, Nantucket’s Cisco Brewers will serve up their Nantucket Stroll tradition at nine Southie bars. Expect 100 exclusive scarf giveaways at each participating bar, raffle items, Cisco brews, live music, holiday decor contest and more during the event.

In addition to the good time, the event is in support of South Boston Neighborhood House (SBNH), a local non-profit that supports the South Boston community. For every pint of Cisco beer sold during Cisco Stroll at participating bars, $1 will be donated to SBNH.
No tickets or purchase are necessary, just choose one of the participating bars to attend and have a beer with some friends.
