Michelle Obama To Campaign In Norristown Area This Week

NORRISTOWN, PA — Former First Lady Michelle Obama will appear in the greater Norristown area this weekend, event organizers told Patch. The event comes some 72 hours ahead of Election Day as part of a concerted push by Democrats to shore up votes in suburban Philadelphia.

The exact location of the event has not yet been divulged, though it will be within the 54th legislative district, which covers Norristown, Conshohocken, and Plymouth Township.

It’s set for some time in the evening on Saturday, Nov. 2.

“This is an incredible opportunity to come together and hear directly from one of the most inspiring voices for change and unity as we head toward Election Day,” State Rep. Greg Scott said.

The former first lady is the latest national name to appear in Montgomery County in the past few weeks, as she follows campaign appearances from Donald Trump, J.D. Vance, Liz Cheney, Elizabeth Warren, Gretchen Whitmer, Josh Shapiro, and more.
