HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA —Residents can review a draft of the township’s comprehensive plan for the next two months before it is approved.
Officials announced at the Horsham Township Council’s Sept. 11 meeting that the comprehensive plan is available on the township’s website through Sept. 30.
Printed copies of the nearly 200-page document will be available for viewing at the library and township building on Friday.

The plan —is the township’s guide for the next 10 to 20 years —will be reviewed by the planning commission on Oct. 1 and the public will have the opportunity to comment on the plan for 45 days beginning Oct. 2.
The Horsham Township Council is scheduled to adopt the plan at its Nov. 25 meeting.

The township held an open house in March to seek feedback from residents.
Through existing conditions analysis and initial public input, the steering committee has identified seven geographic focus areas within the township for further study as part of the comprehensive plan, township officials said.
