According to English, officers noticed that the 16-year-old was visibly intoxicated. As the officers were attempting to stop the juvenile from walking away, police said Camacho then pushed one of the officers. Officers took Camacho to the ground, at which time the juvenile began striking the same officer.

English said the teen and Camacho resisted the Joliet police’s attempts to place them into custody by pulling away and attempting to kick at them.

Due to her level of intoxication, the juvenile was taken by ambulance to Ascension St Joseph Medical Center by the Joliet Fire Department. She was later released and transported to the River Valley Justice Center.
