Bow Firefighters Recover Unsecured Boat On The Merrimack River: Watch

CONCORD, NH — For the second time in a week, community firefighters have taken to the Merrimack River to recover an unsecured boat and ensure no one would need a water rescue.

The latest call came from Bow at around 11:15 a.m. on Friday after firefighters were sent to the area of the Route 3A, Hall Street, and Interstate 89 intersection for a report of a boat floating in the river that was sinking. No one seen near the boat, according to reports. Along with the Bow water rescue team, Concord fire and rescue teams as well as the Hooksett and Pembroke boat teams were alerted.
