CENTRAL ISLIP, NY — Breeze Airways will soon offer air service from Long Island MacArthur Airport to Fort Myers, Florida.
Beginning in October, Breeze will fly two times weekly to and from Fort Myers on Wednesdays and Saturdays, the airline confirmed with Patch on Wednesday.
Round-trip flights between Islip and Fort Myers will begin on October 2.

Breeze officials shared the following flight details with Patch.
Flight MX935 leaves Islip at 5:51 p.m. and arrives in Fort Myers at 9:11 p.m. Flight MX934 returns from Fort Myers at 2:16 p.m. and lands in Islip at 5:11 p.m., Breeze’s Gareth Edmondson-Jones told Patch.

“We’ll be operating the route with new Airbus A220-300 aircraft,” he added.
The aircraft offers high-speed wi-fi, complimentary or with a fee depending on the ticket purchased. Flights also offer free messaging, limited recliner-style Breeze ascent and extra legroom seats, food and drinks for purchase and 60W USB-C laptop charging and USB ports.
All routes will be flown on JetBlue’s Airbus A320 aircraft which has 150 seats across 25 rows, according to JetBlue. Seven rows offer Even More Space seats, which provide travelers with extra legroom.
To celebrate Tuesday’s launch, Breeze is offering special limited-time introductory fares starting at $89 at flybreeze.com through July 1.
The offer is for travel between October 2, 2024, and January 7, 2025. Blackout dates are from November 26 and December 2, 2024. Other restrictions and blackout dates may apply.
