NYPD Identifies Victim, 50, Killed in Brooklyn Fatal Shooting

BROOKLYN, N.Y. — The NYPD have identified the 50-year-old man killed in a shooting in Brownsville earlier this week as Anthony Barlow.

On April 8 at around 8 p.m., police responded to reports of two people shot in the vicinity of Mother Gaston Boulevard and Sutter Avenue.

At the scene, officers observed Barlow, of Sutter Avenue, with a gunshot wound to the chest and a 41-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the shoulder, a NYPD spokesperson detailed.

EMS transported both victims to Brookdale Hospital Medical Center. Barlow was later
pronounced dead at the hospital. The 41-year-old victim remains in stable condition, according to police.

There have been no arrests at this time and an investigation remains ongoing, police said.
