OSWEGO, IL — Five people were hospitalized after a Monday night crash at Route 34 and Pfund Court, according to Oswego police.
Officers were dispatched at 11:52 p.m. to the intersection in response to the two-car crash.
The crash happened while one car, driven by a 49-year-old Oswego woman, was attempting to turn left from Pfund Court onto eastbound Route 34. Traffic was stopped to allow her to cross, the driver told officers, per spokesperson Cathy Nevara. While stopped, the car was hit by another that entered the turn lane while traveling westbound on Route 34.
