Raising Cane's Opens In Cherry Hill

CHERRY HILL, NJ — The Cane’s wave has hit Cherry Hill.

Raising Cane’s opened Tuesday morning in Garden State Park, marking the Southern chicken chain’s third restaurant in South Jersey.

In 2022, Raising Cane’s unveiled plans to open several restaurants throughout the state. New Jersey’s first location opened in Burlington in January, while Marlton’s followed last month.

The chain has nearly 800 locations around the nation.

Specialties at Raising Cane’s include chicken fingers (with signature Cane’s sauce), chicken sandwiches, crinkle-cut fries, Texas toast and sweet tea.

Cherry Hill’s restaurant is decked out with a local theme. The dining area is decorated with high school yearbooks from Camden Catholic High School (1960) and Haddon Township High School (1964), along with graphics featuring South Jersey natives such as actresses Ali Larter and Cristin Milioti, singer-songwriter Toby Lightman, and actress and model Lauren Cohan.

Raising Cane’s (2014 Route 70 W) is open from 9 a.m. to midnight Sunday through Wednesday and 9 to 2 a.m. Thursday through Saturday. The restaurant will bring about 130 jobs to the area, according to a news release.

Additional Raising Cane’s locations are in development for Deptford, Glassboro, Lawnside and Turnersville.
