MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA — A special grant program through the state will provide four community projects with key funding in Montgomery County.
The more than $750,000 in funds comes from the Commonwealth Financing Authority, which adminsters various economic stimulus packages.
Projects range from environmental restoration to needed support for arts and culture. The recipients in Montgomery County are included below:

“A good stormwater management system is a win-win because it helps mitigate environmental impacts from climate change, but it also helps the local economy by curbing flood damage and the economic hit that goes with it,” State Rep. Napoleon Nelson (D-154) said. “I was happy to help Springfield and Cheltenham receive funding for these worthy projects.
Nelson was instrumental in winning the grants, which all fall within his legislative district covering Cheltenham, Jenkintown, and Springfield.
