Spend The 'Dog Days Of Summer' With Frankfort Park District

FRANKFORT, IL — To celebrate those dog days of summer with your four-legged friend, the Frankfort Park District will host the dog-friendly event on July 27 at the Bark Park at Commissioners Park.

The park district said the Dog Days of Summer event is being offered for the first time this year.

The dog-friendly event will offer doggy pools, games, treats and a chance to meet other dogs and owners. Participants can also learn more about the Bark Park membership.

“With the success of our Super Dog Egg Hunt & Howl-A-Woof events during the past few years, we wanted to try and offer an event during the summer,” Recreation Supervisor Cali Debella told Patch.

The event will also offer local vendors like the other two dog park events, Debella said.
