WAUWATOSA, WI — A FedEx truck was struck by a train Monday in Wauwatosa, according to police.
The incident occurred shortly before 10 a.m. in the 11000 block of West Walnut Road, Sgt. Abby Pavlik said.
The truck was crossing the tracks to make a delivery to the nearby public works building when it was hit by a southbound two-car train, according to Pavlik. Photos from the scene tweeted by WISN 12 News’ Gerron Jordan showed what appear to be dozens of packages littering the tracks.

The truck driver suffered minor injuries but train personnel was not hurt, Pavlik said, adding no roads were closed.
