Matt Jackson hopeful to return from injury by AEW Double or Nothing

Matt Jackson of the Young Bucks is hopeful to return to in-ring action by the time AEW Double or Nothing comes around.

Dave Meltzer said on Wrestling Observer Radio that Jackson is getting therapy for a partially torn biceps injury he suffered in Winnipeg during the AEW Trios title match on Dynamite.

Meltzer said the timeframe he was given for Jackson's recovery is six-to-eight weeks that would put him back in time for the Sunday, May 28th pay-per-view. It's not a guarantee that Jackson will be ready by then, but it's a "strong hope" that he will be good to go by then or very soon after if not.

Both Matt & Nick Jackson were written off in storyline by an off-screen attack by the Blackpool Combat Club two weeks ago that saw the former AEW Tag Team Champions taken away in an ambulance.

He has worked through/missed time due to several injuries over the last few years including a partially torn MCL and ACL tear in 2020 and a stinger in 2022.
