Sami Zayn says it ‘remains to be seen’ if he’ll headline WWE WrestleMania night one

Sami Zayn doesn't know if his match with Kevin Owens against the Usos will headline night one of WrestleMania 39.

Ariel Helwani caught up with Zayn in Los Angeles recently and asked if his match is scheduled to go on last tomorrow night.

"Well, I mean, that remains to be seen," Zayn responded.

He would continue to say that if the match does go on last, it will hold a significant spot in the history of tag team wrestling.

Zayn continued:

It is insane because if you think about it, If we do go on last, which again remains to be seen, it would be the first time since WrestleMania I. And it would be the first tag team title match of all time. So, that's something.

He would also mention the history that he and Owens have in Los Angeles dating back to their days in PWG.

Zayn continued:

We, kind of, tried to mention that on TV last week a little bit about how we cut our teeth here. We got it in there but, obviously, we can't delve into it fully.

For like eight years, we came out here every month for eight years.

Owens and Zayn are two-time holders of the PWG Tag Team Championships. Zayn is also a two-time former PWG Champion.
