24 Wins In 27 Bilateral ODI Series – India Have A Superb Home Record Since November 2009

Should India win the 3rd ODI vs New Zealand, it will be consecutive ODI series clean sweeps on home soil. India beat Sri Lanka 3-0 earlier this month.

Securing ODI bilateral series wins in India is no big deal for the Men in Blue.

Since November 2009, India have won 24 and lost just 3, as per TOI.

Since being beaten by Australia 4-2 in India in November 2009, India’s record on home soil has been brilliant.

The 3 series we lost came vs Pakistan (2-1) in 2012-13, South Africa (3-2) in 2015-16 and Australia (2-3) in 2018-19.

Over this period, India have won 72 games, lost 28 and tied 1 while 2 have been no result.

These series wins include two clean sweeps – a 3-0 win vs West Indies in 2021-22 and a 3-0 win vs Sri Lanka in 2023.
