During the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer revealed that the UK edition of AEW Dynamite, which will air on Sundays on ITV4, may be edited due to the standards of the time slot where it will be airing. There are higher content standards at 8:20 in the morning as opposed to the night, because kids would be up and watching. That means that there would likely be content edited out (since the show is airing with a TV-14 rating in the US). If content is removed, then AEW would likely also add content, possibly dark match content, to compensate.
Meltzer said that there would be roughly eight more minutes of content that would have to be added each week, possibly more. He then noted that the October 2nd edition of AEW Dynamite, which will be taped in Washington DC, will have a dark match of SCU (Christopher Daniels, Frankie Kazarian and Scorpio Sky) vs. Jurassic Express (Luchasaurus, Jungle Boy and Marko Stunt). This is a rematch from the opening match of All Out, which SCU won. Meltzer added he didn’t know how the match would be used or when it will be taped that night, just that it would not air on TNT.
He added that while not confirmed, AEW is reportedly working on having no commercials for the FITE TV “AEW Plus” version.Click Here:
